What you paste

SMTP server

Send via your own mail server.

smtp://user:pass@host:587

How to get it

  1. 1Any mailbox with SMTP works (your hosting provider, Office 365, Zoho, …).
  2. 2Find the SMTP host, port and login in your provider's mail settings.
  3. 3Paste one connection URL here: smtp://user:password@host:587 (or smtps://…:465).
  4. 4Has your password special characters? URL-encode them (e.g. @ becomes %40).
  5. 5Sends go out as your own mailbox — no domain verification needed.

What it can't do on its own

Your key is stored encrypted, per user, and read server-side only — just in time, for one action. It never reaches the browser and never reaches a model.

Anything outward-facing — sending, publishing, paying, changing an order — waits for your approval, and that gate lives on the server. Refusals land in the same append-only audit trail as the things that went through.
