How to get it
ActiveCampaign
- 1In ActiveCampaign, go to Settings → Developer.
- 2Copy the API key, and the API URL (https://youraccount.api-us1.com) for the next field.
- 3Optionally add a List ID in the third field to subscribe synced contacts to that list.
- 4The sync only pushes your CUSTOMERS (people who bought) — never cold leads.
ActiveCampaign API URL
- 1Settings → Developer shows the API Access URL — paste it exactly (https://….api-us1.com).
ActiveCampaign list ID
- 1Lists → open your list — the ID is the number in the URL. Optional.
What it can't do on its own
Your key is stored encrypted, per user, and read server-side only — just in time, for one action. It never reaches the browser and never reaches a model.
Anything outward-facing — sending, publishing, paying, changing an order — waits for your approval, and that gate lives on the server. Refusals land in the same append-only audit trail as the things that went through.
