Brohns for contractors & trades

The quote you meant to send tonight

Contractors lose work to speed, not to price: the quote that arrives on Tuesday beats the better one that arrives on Friday. Brohns finds work in your area, drafts the quote with line items from your own price list, gets it signed on a link, and drafts the reminders that chase payment. All of it lands as a draft you approve on your phone, and the totals are computed by code — a price is never something a model decided.

Sound familiar?

The work that keeps not happening.

01

Quoting happens after dinner, or not at all

The job is measured, the price is in your head, and the document is still not written at half past nine. The customer who called three companies has already had two quotes.

02

The pipeline is whoever called this week

When it's busy it doesn't matter. When it goes quiet you realise there's no list of anyone to call, and starting one takes exactly the energy a quiet month drains out of you.

03

Getting paid takes three phone calls

The work's been done for six weeks. Chasing it is awkward, it's unpaid, and every one of those calls comes out of a working day.

04

Reviews only happen after a complaint

The twenty happy customers say nothing. The one unhappy one writes a paragraph. Nobody's asking the other twenty, because asking is one more thing at the end of a job.

What actually changes, day by day.

Monday — work in your area, for nothing

Say what you do and where. The finder sources real businesses and places through OpenStreetMap — free, no paid API — and scores each one on how dated their web presence looks, with the reason attached. You open the list and there are real names in it, not a promise that there will be.

Tuesday — the quote, from your own prices

Build a quote from your catalogue: services and products with your prices and units. The line items and totals are computed server-side from what you saved — the browser can't change a price on the way through. Bro writes the cover in your voice; you check the numbers because they're yours.

Wednesday — signed on the phone

Send a signing link. The customer types their name and it's accepted, with the time and IP recorded. No account, no app, no PDF round trip. From there one click issues an invoice with a payment link in your own Stripe.

Subject: A quick note on your site's mobile speed

Hi — I noticed your booking page takes ~6s to load on mobile, which is where most of your customers are. I put together a couple of quick wins…

Why: opens on the site's weakest point, in your tone.

Thursday — the reminders you'd rather not write

Overdue invoices get reminders that escalate with age — a nudge, a firmer follow-up, a final notice — each drafted from the real invoice and each waiting on your approval. The tone is yours to set once. The awkward part is writing them, and that part is done.

Friday — ask the happy ones

Once the reply queue is clear, the reputation agent picks a recent paying customer who hasn't been contacted lately and drafts a warm review request with your own review link. And when a review does come in, it drafts a reply — negative ones first, because those are the ones that matter within the hour.

The payoff

Concrete, not hand-wavy.

Speed is the whole margin

One job won because the quote went out the same evening covers a year of the subscription. Brohns Pro is €40 a month for 4,000 credits, and a drafted quote costs a few of them.

Nothing goes out with your name on it by accident

Every message, quote and reminder waits for you. The block on sending lives on the server: recipient and content come from the database, inside a send window, a daily cap and a do-not-contact list. Refusals are logged too, so "why didn't that go" has an answer.

No paid data subscriptions to find work

Finding and scoring businesses runs on OpenStreetMap and the built-in reasoning. Paid enrichment services exist as optional upgrades and are never required — decline them and the free path just carries on.

Every outward move — each email, reply or post — waits for your approval first. That's not a setting; it's how Brohns is built. The full credit table lives on the pricing page.

What contractors & trades run on Brohns
Questions

Good to know.

Do I need to be good with computers?

You type what you want in plain language and answer one to three short questions. There's no workflow builder, no automations to wire up, and no AI key to bring — the reasoning is built in. The one setup step that matters is connecting your own email sender, once, so approved messages go out under your name.

Can it price a job for me?

It can assemble a quote from prices you saved, and it writes the wording around them. It doesn't invent a price, and it doesn't estimate a job it hasn't seen. The totals are arithmetic done by code, so what you check is your own numbers, not a model's guess at them.

Will customers know it was written by AI?

They'll read something in your voice, grounded in their own details, that you approved before it left. A second review pass strips invented specifics and hype before a draft even reaches you. When you edit one, the correction becomes a lasting lesson, so the drafts move toward how you actually talk.

What if I don't have a website?

Then that step is skipped rather than faked. A fresh workspace still delivers on its first run: without a site to measure, the first thing it makes is the piece of work your trade needs anyway — your reminder ladder, your first outreach message — written from what you told it. Nothing waits on a website you don't have.

Can I use it from my phone?

Yes. On a phone the app leads with what's waiting on you, your agents as rows you can switch on with a thumb, and the tools you've unlocked — plus a button to ask Bro. Approving a quote or a reminder between jobs is the main thing you'd do there, and it's built for that.
